The digital world once promised great freedom in the world. Yet it has brought more equality than freedom. The equality is found in the technology of social media and its various screens. Technology is far more interested in equality than freedom, on globalism than nationalism.

Story concept: A group of Digital Nomads (DNs) has abandoned technology based around screens. A meeting where we are first introduced to the DNs. They discuss a plan. In many ways, the group is similar to an AA group. Like alcoholics, they foreswear the major addiction of their time. The rise and battle of the DNs against the controlling group of culture termed “The Screens.” A battle of the new symbols of equality and freedom placed in context of their corresponding symbols such as globalism versus nationalism, feminine versus masculine, unconsciousness versus consciousness, irrationality versus rationality.
