There’s a lot of speculation about the newly established Department of Government Efficiency or D.O.G.E. I’ve thought of making a diorama of Washington DC in the future after the D.O.G.E has been operating a few years in 2028. I got a small model of The White House and will put it on a board with grass and trees and not other buildings. (See photo below). I sent a note out to a few friends about my ideas explaining my idea:
I’m also making a diorama where the White House is in the middle of a pastoral scene. No buildings in sight and just some animals grazing around The White House. Beside The White House, a small cottage-like building. A sign in the driveway points to D.O.G.E with the words below it “We don’t validate parking.”
My old friend Larry wrote back in about ten minutes with the above image created by AI. Not bad for coming close to the above description. I would add a small sign saying D.O.G.E over the entry to the small brown cabin on the right, make a small road off the one leading to the White House and place the sign at beginning of the road, correct the spelling in the sign and knock out the other buildings and structures in the background. Also, I would make everything more of an aerial shot of the White House and take out the hills.
But altogether, a pretty good visualization of my idea from the few sentences of the note. There is an interesting subtext to all of this. In effect, the AI technology that allowed the above visualization in just a few minutes will most likely play an important part in increasing government efficiency.
