First Person View (FPV) Drone Ride with Nurk – 2018
I was amazed when I first saw this video and first learned of First Person View Drones. I posted a comment on Midnight Oil on this. In two years I bought my first drone, a Mavic Air 2 around 2020. Haven’t flown my drone for a few years since the word “drone” has gotten a bad name and the government makes it much more difficult to fly them by restrictions. Recently, got back into flying a drone after taking an online test and getting cleared to fly this. It is (importantly) under 49 grams, the cut-off for avoiding much hassle when flying a drone.
The DJI Neo 2
The drone I got was a DJI Neo 2 drone. (One of DJI’s easiest to fly and least expensive drones). I have a controller for it but want to eventually get goggles as it can be turned into a FPV drone. I won’t be another Nurk (the king of FPV drones) but it’s a goal to simply fly it.
