My good friend (and photographer of many of the photos you see after I touched them up in Photomatix 6 HDR editing software) has taken a number of very cool shots on his travels all over the nation as a leading insurance adjuster for a major adjuster company. He is the leading producer and finds time to relax in areas where his job sends him too. Happily it has been to Florida for the past week.
Many of our photos to various local and national social media have garnered thousands of views. For example, the photo of a farm in Ohio in the early morning was one of our largest viewed on NextDoor.
The photos have also received hundreds of positive comments on various social media.
Rich in Miami With New Jazz Sensation Nicole Zuraitis After Her Miami Concert
I’ve gone with Rich to a few jazz events in nearby states. Al Di Meola in Indiana and Eliane Elias in Pittsburgh. The above photo Rich is on his own down in Florida on an adjusting job. I’m just back from a trip with my brother to see my sister in LA. The three of us have not gotten together for a long time and it was a great reunion for me.

Rich emailed me this morning he had somehow got tickets to a sold out concert of the new jazz sensation Nicole Zuraitis. He sent me a few links to her music and I had her music on for the good part to the day. She is the real thing and one of the very few great ones in jazz today. Both composing her own music, accompanying herself on the piano, and singing with an incredible operatic voice in so many ways. Her control and range I don’t think I’ve ever experienced.
Early Morning Ohio Farms / Another Rich & John Photo
Ohio has been experiencing an unusually warm winter and I noticed this when I flew back to Columbus from LA. This morning, we were awakened by the local tornado siren moaning its creepy up and down sound. Certainly a sound from one of Ray Bradbury’s wonderful stories.
During the tornado warning, Rich sent me the above photo of him and Nicole after her concert. Too bad she’s married to her drummer.
