Whistleblowing – as today in the Diddy story as it develops – might be the route to bringing down the corrupt in America. It might be a way of getting at truth much faster than the daily, investigative route of a journalist. That is, through what one would call someone who tells others about the magic behind the curtain. As Websters notes, “one who reveals something covert or who informs against another. Especially, an employee who brings wrongdoing by an employer or by other employees to the attention of a government or law enforcement.

Basically, one is now inside some operations. Of a private or government organization? Just like one might “rat” on the mob. The rewards are huge but the danger also huge. Yet, it might be the way to most effectively bring down the rich and powerful. The Diddy story is a test to this. The real question is about the evidence Diddy has of others engaged in criminal activities. And, whether this evidence will ever get out? 

There is talk about a publishing idea based on whistleblower-authors to corruption in government or any organization in life. A great but dangerous idea. So, of course I’m considering starting a publication like the above. Somewhat of a People magazine of whistleblowers. Yet there are major questions about the protection of whistleblowers. This protection is essential. No matter what administration is in power. This is the way it’s supposed to work. Of course, it doesn’t work this way today. Always a problem we are seeing with the protective agencies of the government.

The more other whistleblowers before them have been protected, then the more willing they are to come forward. A publication made of videos of whistleblowers in various areas of the government who have come forward could be a way to promote the publication. The key is that their identity is always protected. Actors play the parts of real persons in the videos. 

Yet behind the rise in whistleblowers today, telling (selling) us on their life stories, behind all of this is perhaps truly a tsunami wave of whistleblowers who come forward. Expose what has not been exposed before.Pursuing whistleblowers and protecting them and getting their messages out about the inside operations of the two parties. The most direct path to the truth of what’s going on today. Whistleblowers on both sides of the political spectrum. An effective but dangerous path to bring down a corrupt government or private operation. Or, even an entir
