My Home Town LA During the Fires

The Backward Step

I simply had to create a page to hold this gorgeous piece of music. In all the anger and battles between us today, this song places the world into a new perspective. Of course, only as a piece of music, a song, can do.

More than anything, it seems to me to attempt to pull us together rather than apart. One of those much needed songs today.

Much like a new blogger who has shot high up on the charts. Called EKO and always with a short, insightful Haiku piece of Japanese poetry it seems. Somewhat like the poetry of EE Cummings. EKO writes with these types of statements. EKO also adds powerful woodblock prints of scenes of his articles.

The visual illustrations of EKO in the bold, woodblock type of visuals acompanying his articles truly set off the EKO style. The bold slices of Japanese style poetry complets a powerful experience.
