I had intended to go to the Dunes of Lake Michigan this morning. On the way I crossed the causeway of this wonderful marsh. First shot at 5:55AM was looking west.

Then I turned east. The sunrise demanded I stay with the serene yet very much alive marsh I was centered in. The different sounds from the many birds was a welcome auditory awakening that at times resonated in my center.

Then 6:11 watch out for the duck. On to 6:15AM and next to 6:20AM and 6:36AM then 6:38AM.

The last two with steam rising with the morning sun were taken at 6:45AM and 6:47AM.

This concludes my morning meditation at the entrance to the Central Avenue Beach (a Marsh) in Chesterton, Indiana.

Proving again one can intend to do something (me heading to the beach) and God says “Wait a minute. What do you think of this. Just sit here and be. Then get back to me.”

  1. Excellent photography, AND …, an excellent reminder that we should listen when God speaks!
