In New Albany, a waving tall figure blows on a windy day. The kind they have at new home development openings or car dealerships. Here, it is set up for an event in New Albany that looks to have a storm coming. The figure dissolves into clouds going over our home. Turned the clouds upside down so they look like some cauldrons brew. The waving figure appears a few times. A constant sound of crashing waves throughout that is matched with the strong drone sound of Irish music. Shot with a GoPro Mission 1 Pro in using the Time Lapse mode of 2 second increments.
More experiments with the Mission 1 Pro.

You managed to create something quite magical and mythical from the mundane. I will never look at those orange creatures again the same way.
Really neat!
This invokes my ongoing perceptions of a world being consumed by marketing forces (the faux happy man) and the ‘real’ world (sky) being redefined by the home and formal garden. What’s authentic/free of human impact is the wind and the clouds. The music is interesting and jangling, stimulating reflection on the scene.
Thanks much Jay. An interesting way of seeing the piece!
Excellent production! [Note: I do have to wonder, though, if those swirling clouds are really over New Albany, or if they may have been created/enhanced in some way by the photographer???]
