There are destination places like the Golden Lamb in Lebanon, Ohio. Or the Taj Mahal for that matter. And there are also those rare few destination products. Their presence alone attracts people to them with the charm and image of a southern politician.It’s not hard to understand how these might come to control the lives of many. What is to stop their influence? They look pretty harmless. Except for the addiction they sell behind their friendly facade. Many brands of food have become this for people today. Acquaintances or recognizable symbols with certain emotions attached to these images.

This is a lot of what I mean by a “destination product.” Usually it is an addictive product. And usually an addictive product is in the food category. That is because electronic gadgets come and go with technologies. But addictions become firmly attached to certain organic products of nature. Certain foods. In our new era of digital loneliness, food products often are substitutes for best friends who are absent, One only has to watch a few episodes of the reality shows about people greatly overweigh. You will quickly see that those greatly overweight have developed a strange type of personal relationship with the particular food or brand of food,
