All ideas clustered around this particular magnetic force around an idea. This has always been of interest to me and how it’s been for me. Such as posts below of our writing over the past few weeks. Particularly perhaps the top post below which really caps off the posts suggesting a new paradigm for screenwriting. Thanks (as always) Heather.
Proposing a most radical shift if screenwriting theory. A shift from, as I note, a hot medium demanding one fit one’s structure into a pre-made mold, to, a cool medium where structure is created by the the author or artist’s original idea and experience. It is never something to mold one’s own story into.
Erik Bork has been around for a long time but I never saw his rules as revolutionary. But then, Anyone who offers rules rather than structure to Hollywood is the type of disrupter I like.
